PNP celebrates Michael Manley’s centenary with exhibit honouring his legacy
KINGSTON, Jamaica – As part of the People’s National Party’s celebration of Michael Manley’s centenary, the party’s headquarters at 89 Old Hope Road has opened an exhibit honouring his life and legacy.
The exhibit, which opened on Michael Manley’s birthday, December 10, and runs until December 20, features a collection of photographs, books, related documents, videos, and other memorabilia highlighting his journey in both his personal and professional life.
Dr Dayton Campbell, General Secretary of the PNP, stated, “Michael Manley’s vision and contributions have left an indelible mark on Jamaica’s history. This exhibit allows us to reflect on his extraordinary legacy and his unwavering commitment to social justice and equality. We encourage everyone to visit and take part in this tribute to his life and work.”
The exhibit is open to the public on weekdays from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. The PNP welcomes all Jamaicans to experience this celebration of Michael Manley’s centenary.
