KINGSTON, Jamaica — A vendor was fined $2,000 or 10 days in prison after pleading guilty to exposing goods for sale in a no-vending area when he appeared in the Kingston and St Andrew Parish Court on Tuesday.
Steve Lee faced the charges after he was observed with goods displayed openly on Duke Street, an area where vending is prohibited.
“Sir you have to go sell your goods in the market… or get a license and sell on Church Street,” Senior Parish Judge Sanchia Burrell told Lee.
