In pictures: The aftermath of the Rockfort shooting massacre

Jamaica was rocked by another deadly mass shooting on Monday, this time in the east Kingston community of Rockfort.

Five persons were killed while two sustained injuries in the shooting incident at a football match in the Pleasant Heights section of the community.

It was the third mass shooting in recent months, following similar incidents in Cherry Tree Lane, Clarendon, and Bethel Town, Westmoreland.

Jamaica Observer  photographers visited the scene the morning after and captured the aftermath of the tragedy.

The mass shooting at Rockfort was the third such incident in Jamaica in recent months.

Prime Minister Andrew Holness and National Security Minister Dr Horace Chang condemned the slaying of five men at a football match in Pleasant Heights, Rockfort.
