Fire at Westwood High
TRELAWNY, Jamaica — Firefighters were up to late Tuesday night battling a fire at the all-female Westwood High School in Stewart Town, Trelawny.
OBSERVER ONLINE understands that sections of the dining room, laundry area and the kitchen at the school, which was founded in 1882, have been destroyed.It is further understood that the fire started in the kitchen about 10:00 pm.More than 50 per cent of the over 850 students who attend the school are boarders.More information later.Mark Cummings
