Get The Pageant Boss Christmas Look
BEAUTY STOP By Pageant Boss CEO Nicole Stoddart likes to keep her make-up light and simple. “It’s all about the face, base, and a good red lipstick is a must! I like to prep my skin before applying make-up. Skin prep is very important before make-up application because it helps your make-up go on smoothly. How you prep your skin is reflective of how your make-up application is,” she told Tuesday Style Dryer.
Here’s how:
Base make-up application order:
Moisturiser — use a lightweight moisturiser for daytime wear, preferably a hydrating one. Apply and massage onto your face and leave for 1-3 minutes.
Primer — apply a matte primer and leave on face for 1-5 minutes before applying foundation. The longer it stays on, the better.
Create the perfect arched eyebrows using our 2-in-1 eyebrow pencil in dark coffee.
Eyeshadow — apply red colour in the crease of the eyelid and blend upwards. Then apply matte nude colour using a flat fluffy brush.
Use the perfect wing eyeliner to line the eyes and add lashes to complete the look.
Foundation in shade PB9 — apply with brush or beauty blender.
Concealer — apply directly under eyes for coverage. For a more youthful appearance (to give the illusion of a facelift) apply concealer to the outer corner of the eyes.
Pressed Powder shade PB9 — to set the entire face.
Highlight and contour setting powder — to set concealer under the eyes and contour areas.
Peach blush and highlighter on the cheeks
