Tivoli’s Dunn, Waterhouse’s Bryan hungry for more after dominant displays
TIVOLI Gardens forward Justin Dunn & Waterhouse FC striker Javane Bryan are two of the most in form players since the start of the Wray and Nephew Jamaica Premier League — and both are hungry for personal success.
Dunn, 20, who scored a hat-trick against Arnett Gardens more than a week ago, returned on Monday at Stadium East with a double strike to lead Tivoli Gardens to a 4-1 win over Humble Lions.

Waterhouse striker Javane Bryan gives two thumbs up after bagging a hattrick in the club’s 4-1 win over Vere United on Monday.
He’s also given credit to new boss Jerome Waite for his and the team’s transformation.

Prior to the start of the season Dunn often played at left back, but Waite says his talent was too good to be defensive.
“I believe Dunn can go far but it’s a work in progress. He came to us as a defensive player but at the same time, based on the quality that I saw, I switched him and moved him into another position. He’s a youngster who can kick the ball very well so that would do good for any striker,” said Waite.
It might be too early to start the golden boot conversation but Dunn is being rivalled by Bryan who also sits on six goals for the season.
The 27-year-old bagged a hat-trick in Waterhouse’s 4-1 win over Vere United on Monday at Stadium East.
Bryan, since his move to the Drewsland-based club from Tier 2 Club Meadforest FC, has received high praises for his performances and is grateful for the impressive start.
“I’m very pleased with myself, especially for my first season, but without my team it couldn’t be done so I have to give credit to my teammates. Each day I’m on the training pitch and I’m shooting, shooting, shooting so I know I could do it and get the job done.”
He is hoping Heimir Hallgrimsson will call him up to the Reggae Boyz squad in the near future but is in no rush.
“For my first season I just have to be patient in getting the call. If I get it, that’s it, but if not then I continue to work until the time comes. My main target right now is 20 goals — and I’m working on it. I know my teammates are going to make me do it so I just need to be patient enough,” he said.
Both forwards will look to add to their goal tallies on Thursday, with Dunn’s Tivoli Gardens hosting defending champions Mount Pleasant Academy at Stadium East at 3:00 pm and Bryan’s Waterhouse visiting Arnett Gardens at Anthony Spaulding Sports Complex at 7:30 pm.
