Strong support for Ann-Marie and Daryl Portland fund-raiser
Member of Parliament (MP) for Portland Eastern Ann-Marie Vaz, and her husband, Daryl, the MP for the neighbouring Portland Western, staged their annual fund-raiser on Wednesday at Terra Nova All-Suite Hotel in St Andrew with several titans of the private sector turning out.
The money raised from the fund-raiser will help finance the many economic and social support projects implemented by the two MPs in their constituencies.
These include the annual free mammogram programme, football and netball leagues and education grants.
