Patrick Sadler gets grand send-off
THE large number of people who turned up to pay final respects to Patrick Sadler was testimony to the life he lived that endeared him to almost everyone he met.
Sadler, who was laid to rest recently, was eulogised as a peaceful, authentic, articulate, thoughtful, reliable, caring and kind man, at a thanksgiving service for his life at Everton Park Seventh-day Adventist Church in St Andrew West Rural where he was a member of the Jamaica Labour Party.
Saddler — also known as Blacks, Daddy Blacks, Gongon, Shower Man and Patta — was born on Thursday, June 20, 1963 in Rose Hills, St Andrew.
He attended Rose Hill Basic School then Essex Hall All-Age School, and after his primary education he remained at home.
