J Wray & Nephew scores big at JMEA awards
J Wray & Nephew Limited last Saturday triumphed against several other major players in the manufacturing and exporting sectors and emerged as the big winner at this year’s Jamaica Manufacturers and Exporters Association (JMEA) Awards.
The yearly prestigious event, which celebrated Jamaican excellence in manufacturing and exportation, saw J Wray & Nephew Limited proudly securing two coveted awards – the Prime Minister’s Award for Large Champion Exporters (Manufacturing) and the Governor General Award for Exporter of the Year.
With a rich legacy dating back to 1825, as the oldest company in Jamaica and one of the largest exporters in the Caribbean, with its products going to over 60 countries around the world, J Wray & Nephew has consistently demonstrated a commitment to quality, innovation, and international market expansion. The company, in a release, said its dedication to crafting world-class spirits, including the iconic Appleton Estate Rum, has not only garnered accolades from consumers but has also led to impressive export growth.
