A TV SET FOR THE POLICE
3M and United Way of Jamaica delivered, in kind, donations to the Jamaica Constabulary Force and educational institutions recently. Here, newly appointed chief executive Officer at the United Way of Jamaica, Taneshia Stoney Dryden hands over a Samsung 82″ smart TV to the Jamaica Constabulary Force, represented by Superintendent Othneil Dobson (left) and Inspector Sheldon K Gordon. The donation was made possible by 3M Jamaica Limited as they officially transitioned to fully virtual operations.The television set will be utilised to train incoming recruits at the Special Operations Unit. Other beneficiaries include a community-based organisation and several early childhood institutions, which will gain from the donation of eight filing cabinets, 11 shelves, two refrigerators and two smart TVs.
