Westmoreland cop suspected of committing suicide

WESTMORELAND, Jamaica – A police corporal assigned to the Westmoreland Police Division is suspected of committing suicide on Wednesday morning.

Reports are that the body of Horace McDermott was found at his Llandilo, Savanna-La-Mar home with a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Location where McDermott was found dead.

He was assigned to the Frome Police Station.
