Waite’s successful return to Arnett in JPL
Jerome Waite’s return to Arnett Gardens was a successful one as Tivoli Gardens came away 3-1 winners in their Wray and Nephew Jamaica Premier League game on Sunday at the Anthony Spaulding Sports Complex.
Justin Dunn was the star of the show for Tivoli with a hat trick. The man of the match found his goals in the 21st, 50th and 69th minutes.
Jaheim Thomas’ 38th minute strike was the consolation for Arnett as Kimani Arbouine missed a penalty in second half stoppage.
It’s Tivoli’s second win under Waite while it’s a first defeat for Xavier Gilbert as head coach of Arnett.
In the earlier game of the double header, defending Champions Mount Pleasant beat Molynes United 3-1.
