UPDATE: Teen among four charged for body found in barrel
Kingston, Jamaica— A teen was among four men charged on Thursday in connection with the discovery of a man’s body in a barrel on Beeston Street in Kingston more than two weeks ago.
The four were charged following intensive investigations by the Kingston Western police, who had reportedly intercepted men who were about to dispose of the body.

Those charged are Ramone ‘Massa’ Hall, 34 and Jahiem Williams, 19, both from Beeston Street; Andre Reid, 29, a higgler from Mathews Lane and Akeem ‘Pupa Sang’, 24, a shopkeeper from Charles Street, all in Kingston.
The four have been charged with murder and conspiracy to murder. No court date was given for the men.
It was reported that around 1 am, police received information that a man was being beaten to death on Beeston Street. The police rushed to the area and went to a premises where several men fled.
The premises were breached, and the deceased found, head first, inside a blue barrel with a red shirt tied around his neck and both hands bound with black tape.
The scene was processed, and the body transported to the Kingston Public Hospital, where it was pronounced dead.
Following investigations, the four accused were arrested during a joint police/military operation at the said premises. They were jointly charged after a question-and-answer interview in their attorney’s presence.
