Two killed in St James crash
ST JAMES, Jamaica — Two men died as a result of injuries they sustained in a motor vehicle collision on Bogue main road in Montego Bay, St James on Monday.
They have been identified as 24-year-old Collin Graham, a morgue attendant, and 34-year-old Lionel Duhaney, a merchandiser. Both are of Ramble Hill addresses in the parish.
Both men were reportedly occupants of a Toyota Allion motor car that was travelling towards Hanover when the driver allegedly lost control of the vehicle, hit an embankment and collided with a utility pole before landing in a backyard.
The incident happened about 10:30 pm.
Graham and Duhaney were reportedly thrown from the vehicle. They were pronounced dead at hospital.
Noting that speeding continues to be one of the leading causes of motor vehicle collisions resulting in the loss of life, the police are once again appealing to motorists to drive within the specified speed limit.
