Student hospitalised after allegedly stepping on schoolmate’s Clarks
ST ELIZABETH, Jamaica — A grade 8 student of BB Coke High School has been hospitalised after he was beaten for allegedly stepping on a grade 11 student’s Clarks shoes at the Junction-based institution in St Elizabeth on Thursday.
Preliminary reports are that shortly after the dismissal of classes, the two boys were among students collecting their phones when the older boy accused the younger boy of stepping on his Clarks shoes.
The grade 11 student allegedly assaulted the grade eight student by punching and beating him on his hands and face.
The grade 8 student was taken to hospital for treatment.
A video of the incident has gone viral on social media.
