St Catherine police issue wanted person alert in connection with recent murder
ST CATHERINE, Jamaica – The St Catherine Police Division has issued a wanted person notice for 34-year-old Peter Daalon Davis, known by the aliases ‘Devils’ and ‘Devilman’.
Davis, who is currently unemployed and with last known addresses in the Penn District of Riversdale and West Prospect, Bogwalk in St Catherine, is being sought in connection with a recent murder in the parish.
Reports are that the incident occurred in the early hours of Sunday, December 17, around 7:35 am, in the Penn District. It is alleged that Davis went to the home of Kemisha Barrett, a 40-year-old caregiver and mother of his children. In a tragic turn of events, Davis is accused of fatally shooting Richard Swaby, also known as ‘Richy’ or ‘Billy’, a 30-year-old carpenter and the current partner of Barrett. Following the shooting, Davis reportedly fled the scene on foot.
The police are urging the public to be on the look out for Peter Daalon Davis and to report any sightings or information immediately. Davis is considered to be dangerous, and the public is advised against approaching him. Instead, they are requested to contact Police Emergency at 119, Crime Stop at 311, the NIB Tip Line at 811 or the nearest police station.
