St Catherine man charged for murder after bust-up with fellow labourer
ST CATHERINE, Jamaica –A St Catherine man has been charged for murder after an alleged squabble on Farm Road, Linstead on Saturday, November 14, 2022.
Charged is 58-year-old Darlton Frazer otherwise called ‘Trinity Rasta’, ‘Trinity’ or ‘Little Man’, a labourer of Riversdale, St Catherine and Phase two, Longville Park, Clarendon.
Dead is 47-year-old Dwight Christie otherwise called ‘Dunie’, a labourer of Forte Street, Linstead, St Catherine.
Reports are that about 2:20 am, Frazer and Christie had an argument when a fight developed between them. A tussle ensued and both men fell to the ground.
During the fracas, a knife was reportedly brought into play and Christie was stabbed.
The police were alerted and Christie was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
An investigation was launched and Frazer was arrested. He was charged on Monday afternoon.
