Second accused pleads guilty in murder of Paulwell’s daughter and her mom
KINGSTON, Jamaica – A second accused has accepted a deal and pleaded guilty in the murder of Member of Parliament Phillip Paulwell’s 10-month-old daughter Sarayah and her 27-year-old mother Toshyna Patterson.
The man pleaded guilty to two counts of conspiracy to kidnap, two counts of accessory before the fact to murder and one count of misprision of felony when he appeared in the Supreme Court in downtown Kingston on Friday.
His plea followed that of another accused man who, on Thursday, accepted a deal and pleaded guilty to murder and kidnapping in the shocking double murder.
The two men are among four persons charged with the macabre killing of the mother and child.
US Navy petty officer Leoda Bradshaw, who also shares a child with Paulwell, is alleged to be the mastermind behind a murder-for-hire plot that claimed the lives of Patterson and her daughter.
