The dust’s imminent exit from the region is welcomed news for people with asthma, dust-related allergies, sinusitis or other respiratory illnesses, as the dust has the potential to influence air quality and trigger breathing problems.
In the meantime, the met office said windy conditions are expected to continue mainly along coastal areas throughout the weekend. Thereafter, a trough is expected to move into the vicinity of Jamaica on Monday.
