‘Puku man’ charged after firing several shots at a businessman
TRELAWNY, Jamaica – A 25-year-old man from Trelawny was arrested and charged with wounding with intent, using a firearm to commit a felony; unauthorised possession of firearm and unauthorised possession of ammunition by the Trelawny police in connection with an incident that occurred in Mack Hill district, Clark’s Town, in the parish on March 13.
Charged is Randin Gibbs otherwise called ‘Puku Man’ a painter of Duanvale,Trelawny.
Reports from the Falmouth police are that at about 9:15 pm, a man was at his business
establishment when he was allegedly pounced upon by Gibbs; who was armed with a gun. Gibbs then fired several shots at the man hitting him multiple times before escaping.
A report was made to the police, an investigation was launched and Gibbs was subsequently arrested. Following a question and answer segment in the presence of his attorney, her was formally charged on Thursday.
His court date has not been finalised.
