#PennRelays: Hydel and Edwin Allen clash in 4x100m final
PHILADELPHIA, USA – Hydel High and Edwin Allen are set to clash in what could be a fast high school girls’ 4x100m race on Saturday’s final day of the 127th Penn Relays at Franklin Field in Philadelphia.
Hydel High, the ISSA Champs Classes 1 and 2 champions, topped the qualifying rounds on Friday with 44.96 seconds while Edwin Allen were third with 46.64 seconds.
They will be joined by St Jago High and Wolmer’s Girls. There will be seven other Jamaican schools in the International final – St Catherine High, Holmwood Technical, St Mary High, Manchester High, Excelsior High, Mt Alvernia High and Holy Childhood.
