Organisers apologise for audio issues at Burna Boy event in Kingston
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Organisers of the Jamaican leg of BURNA BOY LIVE – The Love Damini Tour, have apologised for technical difficulties that left some patrons struggling with poor audio at the concert.
The massive event held at the National Stadium, drew thousands of fans from across the island as they seized the once in a lifetime opportunity to see the African superstar live in action.
In a release on Monday, event organisers; Twisted Entertainment, Duke Concept and Solid Agency, acknowledged the audio problems experienced by some patrons and expressed that they are committed to resolving the issue in the future.
“We recognise and apologise for technical difficulties with the sound on the night of the event. We also apologize for flaws in crowd control for particularly the Ultra VIP. We are committed going forward to ensuring a better experience where these are concerned, fulfilling a better overall experience,” the statement read.
The release thanked patrons for their support on the night.
“We are extremely grateful to our over nineteen thousand patrons who turned out on time and in their numbers. Patrons were gracious and supportive of all on-stage presentations particularly from our main acts Lila Ike, Popcaan and the African Giant Burna Boy,” the release read.
“We are pleased to have brought Jamaica a successful BURNA BOY LIVE – The Love Damini Tour, December 18th, 2022. This is being described as the African Giant’s most impressive performance to date with the entire stadium singing his songs mostly word for word.”
