Forty-one-year-old Marjan Ehsani, an American citizen of Burlington Avenue, Kingston 10, has been missing since Tuesday, December 5.

4. House approves first supplementary estimates

The House of Representatives yesterday approved the First Supplementary Estimates for the 2017/18 financial year, which reflect an increase of $89.9 billion.

5. NCB’s Nation Builder award nominees named

Nine small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) will vie for more than $2 million in prizes at the 10th annual National Commercial Bank Nation Builder Awards (NBA) gala to be held on December 12 at the Jamaica Pegasus Hotel in St Andrew.

6. Jamaica, Argentina sign agreement on cooperation in art, culture

Minister of Culture, Gender, Entertainment and Sport Olivia Grange has told Argentinian Ambassador to Jamaica, Ariel Fernandez, that Jamaica is looking forward to building cooperation with Argentina in areas such as the exchange of professionals, specialists, researchers, students and creators in the different fields of culture and art, as well as in tangible and intangible cultural heritage.

The police are reporting that five men have been taken into custody following the seizure of three illegal firearms and several rounds of ammunition in separate incidents today.
