Nurse killed in Trelawny crash

TRELAWNY, Jamaica – A woman lost her life when the vehicle she was driving collided with a truck along the Rio Bueno main road in Trelawny on Sunday evening.

The woman has been identified as Ava-Daun Allen, a specialised nurse of a St Ann address.

Reports are that just after 4:00 pm, Allen was travelling in a Toyota Corolla motor car when she reportedly collided with a refrigerated truck.

She was rushed to hospital where she succumbed to her injuries.
