‘Naldo’ charged after pistol, ammo found in bar
ST CATHERINE, Jamaica – One man has been charged for the seizure of a firearm and four rounds of ammunition at a bar in Dunbeholden, Portmore, St Catherine on Saturday.
Charged with possession of a prohibited weapon and unauthorised possession of ammunition is 23-year-old Ronaldo Douglas, otherwise called ‘Naldo’ of Dunbeholden.
Reports from the Portmore police are that about 9:35 pm, lawmen acting on information went to the bar.
Douglas was accosted and searched and one Glock pistol with a magazine containing four 9mm rounds of ammunition was taken from him.
He was subsequently taken into custody. He was charged following an interview, during which he gave a caution statement
