Man charged after pointing firearm at another during altercation
TRELAWNY, Jamaica – Forty-year-old Lionel Clarke, a steel worker of Hague District in Trelawny, was charged with possession of prohibited weapon and assault at common law following an incident along Rodney Street in Falmouth, Trelawny, on Thursday, December 15.
Reports are that about 7:30 am, Clarke and another man had an argument during which Clarke allegedly pulled a firearm and pointed it at the man. A report was made to the police and Clarke turned himself in.
He was subsequently charged and is scheduled to appear in court on Thursday, January 12, 2023.
