Landscaper charged in fatal stabbing of bar patron
ST ANDREW, Jamaica— A 29-year-old landscaper was arrested and charged with the stabbing death of a man who was attacked by several patrons at a bar in the Stony Hill Square, St Andrew on Friday, August 25.
Dead is 34-year-old Bryan Morris.
Charged with Morris’ murder is De-Andrew Carr of Airy Castle Road, Stony Hill, St Andrew.
Reports from the Constant Spring Police are that about 11:45 pm, Morris was a patron at a bar when he was allegedly attacked by several persons, including Carr, who reportedly stabbed him multiple times.
Morris ran from the bar and collapsed along the roadway. He was taken to hospital by a motorist where he succumbed to his injuries.
On Thursday, August 31, Carr turned himself in to the police accompanied by his attorney. On Friday, September 1, Carr was charged after a question-and-answer session in the presence of his attorney.
His court date has not been finalised.
