Judge orders access to Gabriel King mom’s phone
ST JAMES, Jamaica — The mother of murdered nine-year-old Gabriel King has been given until November 24 to give the police access to her mobile phone. Her lawyer says he intends to appeal the ruling.
When the matter came up in the St James Parish Court on Friday, senior parish judge Sasha Ashley ordered Amoi Leon-Issa to give access to her iPhone 13 Pro Max for analysis.

She rejected a request from Leon-Issa’s attorney— Chuckwuemeka Cameron— that his client should be present while the phone was being analysed. It will be enough for Cameron to be present, the judge ruled.
The child, who was autistic, was found with his throat slashed, and his body slumped on the back seat of his mother’s car which had been reported stolen only minutes earlier. When the news broke of the child’s gruesome murder on January 13, Jamaicans across the world were left stunned as questions raised regarding young Gabriel’s mysterious death.
