JFF names 20-man squad for U-17 FIFA World Cup qualifiers
KINGSTON, Jamaica – The Jamaica Football Federation (JFF) named on Wednesday a 20-man squad set to participate in the 2023 Concacaf Under-17 Championship in Guatemala.
The announcement was made via social media.
The 20-man squad is slated to depart the island soon for the February 11-26 championship.
The goalkeepers are: Tawayne Lynch, Joshua Joshua Grant
Ronaldo Barrett, Jason Whyte, Jordan Mangatal, Evrald Swaby, Dustin Cohen, Dyllon John are the midfielders named for the squad.
The defenders include Ahir Dixon, Alexavier Gooden, Maleek Robinson, Adrian Reid, Malachi Molina, Nahshon Bolt-Barrett, Brandon Bent.
Headlining the attack are Orane Watson, Jahmani Bell, Nicholas Simmonds, Adrian Mahoney and Ashton Gordon.
The top four teams at the championships will qualify for the FIFA Under-17 World Cup in Peru scheduled for November 10 to December 2.
