Jamaica Midlife Health Society to host prostate cancer, cardiovascular disease symposium
KINGSTON, Jamaica – The Jamaica Midlife Health Society (JMHS) will be hosting a virtual symposium on Sunday, March 26, focusing on the topic ‘Prostate Cancer and Cardiovascular Disease: Preventing the Double-Death-Dash’.
The event will be held from 1 pm to 5 pm, and persons wishing to participate are invited to register at mhs.official@gmail.com.
Presenters for the event include Consultant Urologist, Dr Tasha Cooke, who will speak on the topic ‘Erectile Dysfunction: Expanding Treatment Options’, while Cardiologist, Dr Michael J Koren will address the topic ‘Preventing Cardiovascular Diseases in Midlife and Beyond’.
JMHS President, Dr William Brown, said the aim of the symposium is to “get the message out there so that persons can be better”.
The JMHS is a charitable organisation which promotes optimal health for men and women at midlife (ages 35 to 59), public education and fundraising activities.
