Higgler charged with robbery after allegedly stealing phone, holding woman at knife-point

KINGSTON, Jamaica – A 63-year-old higgler is facing a charge of robbery with aggravation after allegedly holding a woman at knife-point and stealing her Samsung smartphone.

The man has been identified as Donald Miller of Oakland Road, Kingston 11.

Reports from the Half Way Tree police are that at about 2:00 am, a woman was walking along a roadway on Eastwood Park Road when Miller allegedly held her at knife-point. He reportedly took her Samsung S8 cellular phone valued at $65,000.

Miller was arrested on Monday, July 24 and was charged on Thursday following an interview in the presence of his attorney.

His court date is being arranged.
