Hickling leaps to victory in Women Long Jump at Gibson/McCook Relays

KINGSTON, Jamaica – Two-time national champion Tissanna Hickling of Ricketts Performance leaped to victory in the Women Long Jump Open at the 50th staging of the Gibson/McCook Relays at the National Stadium on Saturday.

Hickling recorded a best jump of 6.27m.

She was followed by Jade-Ann Dawkins of St Jago High, who recorded a personal best leap of 6.08m. Aaliyah Foster of Mount Alvernia High rounded out the top three with a season best (SB) jump of 5.88m

Jodian Stewart of MVP Track Club jumped to a season best of 5.80 for fourth, Rohanna SUDLOW placed fifth with 5.69m, sixth went to Melissa Walker, also of MVP Track Club (5.62m/SB), Celine Riddle of Holmwood Technical High placed seventh with a jump of 5.60m and Rojrika CAMPBELL of St Elizabeth Technical finished eighth with 5.49m.
