ST ANN, Jamaica – Gunmen temporarily abducted a woman following a robbery at a Western Union outlet in Salem, Runaway Bay, St Ann on Wednesday afternoon.
The woman was used by the gunmen as a human shield to help in their escape, the police said. The sum of money taken has not yet been determined, Observer Online understands.
Information reaching our newsroom is that around 12:35 pm, two men wearing masks entered the store, and one brandished a firearm and pointed it at the cashier and demanded money.
