Father arrested for having sexual intercourse with two daughters

TRELAWNY, Jamaica – The Trelawny police have arrested and charged a 43-year-old man for allegedly having sexual intercourse with his two daughters, who are both under 16-years-old.

Reports are that the father had sexual intercourse with the girls each time they visited him in 2019. However, the sisters were reportedly fearful of reporting their father to the police.

But, accompanied by an adult, they recently reported their father to the authorities.

He was subsequently arrested and charged on Wednesday, June 1, following an interview with members of the Centre for the Investigation of Sexual Offences and Child Abuse.

“He has been arrested, charged and in custody,” a senior member of the Jamaica Constabulary Force told OBSERVER ONLINE.

A court date for the father has not yet been set.
