Farmer accused of stabbing another in abdomen
TRELAWNY, Jamaica – A farmer has been charged with wounding with intent following an incident in Lowe River Trelawny on Sunday, January 8.
Charged is 39-year-old Damion Rowe of Lorimers, Wait-A-Bit in the parish.
Reports from the Wait-A-Bit police are that about 10:50 pm, the complainant and Rowe were at a bar having drinks when an argument developed between both men. The complainant then left and went home.
It is alleged Rowe followed him home and used a knife to inflict wounds to his abdomen.
A report was made to the police and the complainant was taken to hospital where he was admitted in serious condition.
Rowe was charged on Friday, January 13 after he was questioned in the presence of his attorney.
