‘Dudus’ charged with burglary, larceny in Manchester
MANCHESTER, Jamaica – A 19-year-old Manchester man known as ‘Dudus’ was arrested and charged with burglary and larceny following an incident in Pike district in the parish on Sunday.
Reports from the Manchester Police are that a woman securely locked her dwelling at about 9:00 pm on Saturday and left. Upon her return at about 3:00 am on Sunday, ‘Dudus’, given name Derrick Morgan, was spotted in the vicinity of her home.
Checks were subsequently made and it was discovered that a window was broken and J$15,000 stolen.
The police were summoned and Morgan was taken into custody and interviewed.
During the interview, he gave a caution statement to the police admitting to the crime. He was arrested and charged.
His court date is being arranged.
