Chuck Fenda returns to Canada to unleash musical fire
Chuck Fenda returns to Canada next weekend with the aim to unleash a musical fire to his fans. It was a year ago that he was scheduled to perform in that country, but due to unforeseen circumstances he was unable to fulfill his performance obligation.
The artiste known for hits such as Gash Dem and Light Dem, I Swear and Living Fire, will return to Toronto as the headliner for Fire In Da City.
The concert, which will also feature Jamaica-born, Canada-based JUNO Award winning reggae artiste Kirk Diamond, is scheduled for May 20 at the Jamaica Canada Association Centre.
Fenda says he is looking forward to performing for his fans and to promote his recently released album Eternal Fire.
“Canada has always shown me a lot of love and support. Last year the people never get to see me perform because the show was shut down before I was to perform. What happened was beyond the control of the promoter. But I will be going back there in a few weeks, so the fans can look out for more musical fire,” said Fenda.
According to Fenda, Eternal Fire has been doing well since its release in February. The 15-track set was produced by Dwayne ‘Fire Wayne’ Cowans.
“The fans have been supporting the album and we give thanks for the strength. I will be performing some of the songs from the album as well as the hits that the people have come to love over the years,” said Fenda.
