‘Blackman’ is the Klansman boss – Andre Bryan found guilty of being gang leader
Andre “Blackman” Bryan has been found guilty of being the leader of the notorious Klansman gang.
Chief Justice Bryan Sykes made the declaration Tuesday morning at the Supreme Court in downtown Kingston in the ongoing trial of 26 alleged members of the Spanish Town-based criminal network.
The verdict is related to count one, which charges Bryan with leadership of a criminal organisation, of the 25-count indictment.
Bryan has already been found guilty in several murders in the trial, including the killing of a St Catherine couple in 2017 during a search for a rival gangster called Bobo Sparks; the 2017 murder of Damaine Forrester, also called Doolie, at Price Rite, Meadowbrook, in St Andrew, and the murder of an unknown male at the Phil’s Hardware store in Spanish Town in 2018.
