Hot air balloons light up Westmoreland sky ahead of young brothers’ funeral
WESTMORELAND, Jamaica — Three hot air balloons were released into the night skies in Westmoreland on Saturday evening in honour of the three brothers who died tragically in a fire at their home in Springfield in September.
The release of the balloons was done at their wake. The deceased are Jayden and Jorden Laing, both seven years old, and eight-year-old Adrianno Laing.
The fire that killed the brothers was reportedly triggered by candles that were lit by the children following a power outage in their area.
