She’s My Destiny retires
SHE’S My Destiny, a five-year-old chestnut mare, put in her final racing performance at Caymanas Park on Saturday, December 23, 2023 and will now be officially retired.
She’s My Destiny retires with a career record of 26 starts comprising 13 wins, two second-place finishes, and three third spots for overall earnings of just over $11.5 million.
The Bern Identity out of Woman Is Boss offspring, bred by Karen Parsard and trained first by Wayne DaCosta then later by his son Jason, is jointly owned by Everton Rose and Akim Mahadiow.
In 2023 alone She’s My Destiny secured five wins from 10 starts, with earnings of over $5.6 million.
“At first She’s My Destiny will go to HAM Stables where she will be served by resident stallion Sensational Slam. Then she will be boarded at Orange Valley,” Mahadiow said.
“This horse has brought us owners so much joy. It has been an incredible journey,” he continued.
She’s My Destiny’s last win came on October 16 in the Gold Cup during which she defeated Mahogany by a length and a quarter in a time of 1:25.0.
