Usain, Jahzeal gift More Alcohol
As Jamaica celebrates its Independence, the world’s fastest sprinter, Usain Bolt, has gifted his fans and music lovers with a brand-new party anthem titled More Alcohol.
This lively single, featuring up-and-coming Jamaican reggae/dancehall singer Jahzeal, is the second collaboration between Bolt and Jahzeal under the A-Team Lifestyle record label. The first release was Try Harder.
Released on July 28, 2023, More Alcohol instantly caught the attention of fans and music enthusiasts alike. The song reflects the vibrant and infectious musical culture deeply rooted in Jamaican traditions.
As an executive producer of the single, Bolt takes on a different role, using his creative vision to shape the musical direction. Alongside his manager Nugent “NJ” Walker and beat maker Raja Nelson, they have crafted a captivating sound that perfectly complements the high-energy performances of both artistes.
“As an athlete, and now an executive producer, I’ve learned that success comes from staying focused and keeping your spirits high, no matter the hurdles we face. Just like in sprinting, in life we must keep moving forward with determination and joy. More Alcohol is not just a song, it’s a celebration of Jamaica’s ‘Emancipendence’ and the resilience of our people. Let’s raise a toast to our beautiful island, our rich culture, and the freedom we embrace,” said Bolt.
To accompany the release, an audio video has been made available on Usain Bolt’s official VEVO channel on YouTube. This allows fans to immerse themselves in the captivating rhythm while eagerly anticipating a full music video.
