Kevin Heath, Michael Stuckey for Beauty for Ashes conference
American gospel artiste Minister Michael Stuckey as well as Jamaican act Kevin Heath will be the headliners at the inaugural staging of the Beauty For Ashes women’s conference on November 17 and 18 at Jamaica Conference Centre in Kingston.
“Those guest artistes were chosen because they’re pretty much the same; they can minister to women. Michael Stuckey is an international performer and he has a prophetic ministry. So, when he ministers, he also ministers to women and we had him at our [Toronto] conference in March,” conceptualiser Pastor Gaynel Eccles told the Jamaica Observer.
“Kevin Heath is the same. He is that person who has that background even though he is a male…he has that background where he’s been through a lot of stuff so he can bring a lot to the table. He is also able to minister when he performs,” she added.
The conference will also see multiple speakers including Prophetess Sharon Seay Whitelaw and Prophetess Cycelia Matthews from the United States and Prophetess Sarah Smith, Minister Michael Maragh, Tamara Wright-Martin, and Ava-Gay Blair from Jamaica.
The programme will entail presentations in areas of health and wellness, family and marriage, finance and faith as well as mental health.
“Originally, I’m from Jamaica…God gave me a word from Isaiah in March and I had the conference here [in Toronto] and it was successful. I said you know what, I’m going to take this to Jamaica. We’re gonna bring it all over the world and so we started with Jamaica,” Eccles explained.
Eccles, who hails from St Mary, is a registered nurse as well as a licensed pastor with credentials from Canada Christian College.
In the meantime, Eccles added that she is confident that the local staging of the conference will yield success.
“When they come to this conference0 all the attendees will be empowered. They’re so many different things that they will feel. They will feel set free from bondages and depression. I know they’re going to be revived and refreshed,” she said.
