Carnival Pon Di Road heads to Falmouth
APPLETON Special and Digicel’s Carnival Pon Di Road series heads to Trelawny tomorrow.
The series, now in its third week, has already been to the Cristal Night Club parking lot in Portland and Brown’s Town Square in St Ann.
“With a buzzing world-class cruise ship pier and resorts, Trelawny is one of the fastest growing tourism entertainment capitals in the Caribbean and has a wide cross section of local and international partygoers. We can’t wait to reignite Jamaica’s very own uptempo carnival culture there in the popular Falmouth Square along with our partners Digicel. We encourage feters to come out in their brightest Carnival colours and be prepared for Carnival foam this week,” said Gary Dixon, marketing director of J Wray & Nephew Limited.
series, which was held over the last two weeks.
Soca and fancehall mixes, dancing games, and face jewel and painting, gave the large crowds in each community a real taste of the carnival experience.
All events are free for persons 18 and over.
