VM launches PropMan technology
Property and community management tool PropMan was yesterday launched by VM Property Services Limited. The innovative full-service digital property management platform was designed to make it easy for property owners to manage their homes and investments.
The technology developed by VM’s fintech arm VM Innovations Limited, marks its first flagship product which aims to offer game-changing home management solutions which is being delivered by VM Property Services to its first client, the Phoenix Park Village community, a near 2,000 housing development located in Portmore, St Catherine.
“PropMan is a product of many, many hours by the VM Innovations team. It represents several partnerships across both public and the private sectors and will be a truly collaborative and integrated solution that will only get better over time,” said Maurice Barnes, chief executive officer of VM Innovations, speaking at the launch event on Tuesday.
Providing a range of complex property and strata management tasks from security to account tracking and monitoring, PropMan seeks to bridge the gap across similar softwares affording owners the ease of managing and enjoying their properties.
“The system has three portals in its current form, one for the property management team, one for property owners and another for security personnel. Coming very soon we’ll also have portals for landlords and for tenants,” Barnes said.
“PropMan is designed for multi-property and community management, it will facilitate complaints management and request from the property owners which will be centralised similar to a help desk ticketing system, allowing users to track their requests and hold property management teams and associations accountable,” he further said, noting some other cutting-edge community engagement features which include digital bulletin boards and online management systems which can support up to 3,000 persons in meetings.
The developers shared that PropMan’s fully online, subscription-based model will also allow for financial affairs management along with vendor management and e-payment services, some of which are expected to come later. Touted as being web responsive, the technology can be accessed on a number of devices including phones, tablets and computers.
“In addition, there are some enhanced features which we will be bringing to market which will be available on a native mobile app which is to be rolled out by the end of next month. We are also now having discussions with other partners to bring things such as emergency services and mailroom package management onboard,” Barnes said.
