What is one key change you believe needs to happen—whether in the workplace, community, or society—to create real progress for women, and how can you (or have you) contributed to making it happen?
Sponsorship and mentorship are powerful tools for female empowerment. While mentorship provides guidance, sponsorship actively propels women forward by advocating for their career advancement. Both are essential in ensuring women have equal opportunities to thrive.
At NCB, I have mentored women in various roles over the years, helping them navigate leadership challenges and build strategic skills. I have also sponsored high-potential women by advocating for their inclusion in leadership roles.
I believe that sustained sponsorship and mentorship can help break down inherent biases and create a culture where women are valued, heard, and positioned for success. Female empowerment isn’t just about presence, it is also about ensuring women have the tools and support to lead with impact.
