#InspireInclusion – AMOYE PHILLPOTTS-BROWN
AMOYE PHILLPOTTS-BROWN, BRAND MANAGER, HEINEKEN
Q: How are you investing in yourself, and in other women/girls, to accelerate progress and empowerment?
A: My journey is deeply shaped by mentorship and through Red Stripe I am currently the mentee of a local and international mentor. I firmly embrace “each one, teach one”, actively investing in others through Minds of Jamaica, mentoring a young lady at Northern Caribbean University and creating initiatives that empower young people through The Martha’s Smile Charity — helping others fuel a cycle of growth and support.
Q: What strategies do you employ to #inspireinclusion within your own sphere of influence?
A: As a marketer, I prioritise diverse perspectives, actively engaging with team members and consumers from varied backgrounds and genders. My approach, rooted in empathy, creates a culture where everyone feels valued and heard, shaping inclusive brand stories that resonate broadly. It also allows me to take the learnings from those interactions to develop strong innovations with speed.
