11 questions for your Jamaican girl
JAMAICAN men may be the biggest schemers, but ask them who can take the crown from them easily and they will tell you that it’s the women — the sneaky, conniving Jamaican woman who will have a man walking the streets in his boxers singing Dry Cry.
When dating a Jamaican woman being considered for life partner status, simple questions during the courtship phase won’t do, they say. Indeed, one has to find ingenious ways of posing the questions to get accurate information, since the man may just be hit with, “But you didn’t ask that,” when the truth finally comes out.
Last week we dished on the questions women should be asking Jamaican men in an effort to avoid pain and heartbreak. This week we share the views of the men, who responded to the article.
Here are some questions they suggest asking early in the dating process.
1. When you say you don’t have a man, is there any man who is doing the most for you who would be shocked to hear you utter those words?
2. Till death, or till debt will we part? Which one more applies to you?
3. On a scale of 1-10, how honest are you when you rate a man’s performance?
4. If I was to lose my money or a body part, or get sick, would you stay?
5. Is that man you hang out with just a friend, an ex, or a love hopeful?
6. Does 50-50 for you mean what it does to a normal person, or do you do your own calculations?
7. What’s your definition of “independent woman”? Are you independent but still expect me to mind you?
8. How much of an influence does your mother have in your life? Would you say she needs to know all your business?
9. What has your grandmother taught you about resolving conflicts in a relationship? On a scale of 1-10, are her suggestions legal or illegal?
10. Love, or money? Which ranks higher in importance for you?
11. Hypothetically speaking, you’re not sure who the father is. Is your solution a DNA test, or would you just pray, wing it and hope for the best?
