Bee Simone — Saving your skin
BRITTNY Simone Anderson noticed that as she went through puberty, her skin went through several transitions. Since then she has always been searching for new remedies to keep it supple, soft and smooth. Now with her BeeSimone line of organic skincare products, the 20-year-old is saving more than just her own skin – she wants to save yours too.
“I’ve realised that my friends and other people often have issues maintaining their skin and keeping it healthy and moisturised, so I decided to be the saviour of skin,” she told All Woman. “Though there are many other skincare lines out there, I feel like an industry as important as skincare can never be oversaturated.”
The integrated marketing and communication student at The University of the West Indies offers a heavenly assortment of oils, butters, scrubs, masks and soaps to rejuvenate your skin and awaken your senses at the same time. The full range of her products is displayed in her online store (IG: @beesimonebeauty).
“My rose clay face mask is a customer favourite,” she highlighted. “I also offer other face masks, face oil, body butters, body scrubs, glow face scrub and a glow face wash. I try to introduce new scented body butters and body scrubs every month instead of sticking to a particular set of scents.”
Anderson is an advocate for sel care, as she believes it is essential to one’s emotional well-being. She says her products offer a simple and budget-friendly, yet luxurious pampering experience.
“Adding a body butter and scrub to your selfcare routine is so much better than just using a regular soap. You’ll definitely step out the shower feeling brand new,” she said.
“The face wash and face oil are for everyday use, while the face scrub and mask are used when you feel like giving your skin a little extra love.”
Of importance to Anderson is that her BeeSimone products are all natural – as natural as the bee in BeeSimone.
“I just love the idea of natural skincare. Using organic products provides healing for the skin in areas that are so often overlooked, and as an added bonus, natural ingredients tend to be a lot more gentle on the skin.”
