No money, more problems
For some women, a man’s financial status will tell them if they should go further, approach with caution, or run for their lives. It is not that the women are all about securing money, they say, but rather, they want to know that their men are in control and can provide.
Rushelle:
Truth is, once I meet a man and he tells me he has no job or savings, it’s not going one step further. It makes no sense to me. Yes, love is important, but I need to eat and live comfortably too, so if a man cannot provide for me I am running away from that.
Chevelle:
No woman wants a man who is broke and jobless and that is a fact. I am pretty much independent but I still want my man with money – loads of it if possible – and that is simply because I am not sure I can be with someone who has no clue how to run a house.
Caren:
Most women run from men with money problems because they are not looking to fix his problems, they are searching for someone to fix theirs. I don’t think a man is a man until he can manage his own money.
Jenell:
Looking back on my last relationship, I must have been blinded by his good looks because the guy was jobless, homeless and moneyless, and I was basically helping him through his drama with babymothers. I must have been blind and I think a lot of women who pick up these men are blind.
Carol:
If you have no money and you are tied up in loans, I am simply not interested.
