The straw that broke this woman’s back
Women will suffer in silence for years, and then one word, one action, will have them clocking out and calling it quits. And when a woman reaches this stage, there’s not much that a man can do to keep her, or make her change her mind. What experience finally opened your eyes that it was time to move on?
TM:
I was more than loyal to my ex-husband until I came home too early one afternoon without notifying him and saw him in bed with another man. My husband gave me the biggest shock of my entire life. I was tarnished mentally for years. That changed how I viewed men. I still am scared to date.
Tanya:
My ex man literally told me to get the heck out of the car one morning after dropping me at work. This was the car that I was paying for and he was driving around in it to pick up other women. He insulted me simply because we had an argument. He basically disrespected me before my coworkers. That switched everything for me. I stopped assisting him financially.
TI:
I would wash, cook and clean his apartment until I found some panties that weren’t mine and he lied to me and told me that he had bought them for me. He must have thought I was an idiot. I was slaving to keep his apartment clean to make another woman comfortable.
Sharrie:
I watched my man eat before me and offered me none because we had a falling out. That revealed the true him. After that I catered for myself too and stopped caring about him, period. I am really not sure what we’re doing together still, but all we do is have sex, nothing more.
HB:
My ex stole my money and I know it was him because he knew where in my house I kept cash. He stole it and that turned me against men. Men are simply too wicked.
